Business Advice Centre North East is a project designed to provide quality business advice in all the major areas that may affect a business no matter what size or at what stage in its life cycle. All the people giving business advice on this site are actively in business themselves at this moment in time and are all within our North East region. That’s what we mean by “Real business advice from real business people”
Finding Quality business advice can be tough. Who do you ask? You may know someone in one area but not another, your competitors won’t want to give away their secrets, you might be able to get some useful business advice from local government agencies but it will usually be general and not specific to one area EG "legal advice"

We’ve tried to make this website give businesses the information they may need as directly as possible without the need for deep searching through page upon page but here’s a quick guide:

Click through to the area that broadly covers your need Eg. “I want to know about financing a new project ?” so click on Finance at the top of the page.

This takes you to the Finance Advice Centre.

There will be several areas. Again choose the area closest to your needs.

Read through the overview, FAQ’s and pitfalls but if the information there doesn’t answer your question or you need more information then simply EMAIL the expert at the link at the bottom of the page. They'll get back to you as soon as possible…..

The DCM business community is an organisation dedicated to collaborative work and business to business support. Independent, privately funded and without constraints of local government.
